  • What do you gain from being in a business fraternity?
Especially being open to ALL majors, Pi Sigma Epsilon surrounds yourself with like-minded individuals that help bring out the best in you and enables you to diversify your professional skills. We help brothers feel supported, empowered, and ensure you get the business resources to set you up for your next job or internship - no matter your major.
  • What are some tips for the interviews?
Be sure to pay attention to all the emails you’ll be receiving from us to make sure you’re updated on all recruitment information regarding your interviews. During your interview, make sure to be prepared! Practice never hurts. Please be flexible and flexible with our interview process - especially with the virtual aspect. It may seem unnatural to have an interview over Zoom, but it’s new for us too. Just pretend like it’s in person and we’ll do our best to give it the same in person atmosphere.
  • What is the time commitment / can I be involved in other organizations?
As you’re becoming a new member, you’ll spend time getting to know our members and the structure of PSE. After your new member semester, you have no required time commitment other than attending chapter; it is what you make of it. Our chapter offers multiple leadership positions with different time commitments such as committees, leads, directors, and executive board. You are able to be involved in any other organization outside of Pi Sigma Epsilon! We have many members in other organizations such as Greek life, UBWA, USG and more.
  • How much does it cost?
This semester, our chapter will not be charging members local dues, but members are still required to pay national dues. Our dues are much more inexpensive than social Greek life dues.
  • Is your recruitment process competitive?
Our chapter seeks out members for quality over quantity, so we do have cuts during our recruitment process. This process allows us to get to know potential new members better and it’s intended to scare anyone. If you do get cut, please don’t be discouraged. We’re here to get to know you and make this process as easy as possible - please come back out for PSE!
  • I didn’t receive an email confirmation, how do I know I made it onto the next round?"
No matter the outcome, you’ll always receive an email from our recruitment team. If you are worried you did not receive one when you should have, please contact us ASAP at pseosu@gmail.com. Feel free to also contact Lauren Taras or Gabby Gick.
  • Do I have to attend every event?
You must attend at least one info session, but feel free to attend them both to get to know more people! All other recruitment events are required.
  • What majors and years are you looking for in new members?
We accept ALL majors in Pi Sigma Epsilon and all of our incredible members have to show for that - ranging from Finance to Pre-Dental. We feel that we can develop freshmen and sophomores more than other years because they will be involved with PSE for more time, however juniors are certainly welcome to participate in recruitment.
  • How is PSE diverse?
PSE includes an array of majors, backgrounds, interests, and more. We make our chapter as welcome and inclusive as possible because we have a goal to foster inclusivity within our organization. Check out our Diversity and Inclusion page to learn more!
  • What should I expect with virtual recruitment?
We will be doing our best to keep our recruitment as natural as possible! If you want to get to know more about PSE, be sure to ask questions. If you’re unable to get a word in on video, feel free to use the chat feature on Zoom. Let us know how we can make this process as easy and welcome as possible!
  • How do I make myself stand out even over zoom?
Be yourself - it’s simple to say, but we want you for who you really are. Before your zoom call, it would help to look into our PSE website to learn more about who we are so if you have any questions you can easily ask them. And please feel free to ask questions! Utilize the chat feature in Zoom if you don’t want to speak over people. Feel free to even add in a fun background to stand out!
